Mechanic allegedly steals $400K in auto supplies

Frederick Lange, the lead mechanic and shop foreman for Bensalem (Pa.) Township School District, is arrested on Monday after an ongoing investigation. Investigators say Lange stole and resold truck tires, batteries and other items from the district over a period of 10 years.

Contracted Pa. bus drivers still eligible for jobless benefits

School bus drivers in the state who work for private companies can continue to collect unemployment during the summer break in between school years after a bill that would have amended this law has died in the General Assembly — the bill’s sponsor has withdrawn his name from the legislation.
