WARWICK, N.Y. — Type A manufacturer Trans Tech Bus released details on a new warranty that will begin with its 2012 model year.
With the TechStar 360 new vehicle limited warranty, Trans Tech said it will warrant each school bus and multi-function school activity bus for three years or 60,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the original in-service date of the vehicle, with no deductible.
The plan is limited to warrantable repairs that are required as a result of defects due to material and/or workmanship to the body conversion components.
Trans Tech said that more details are available through its dealers. The company’s written warranty policy identifies exclusions and limitations.
