TireStamp Enhances Tire Pressure Management System
The new TireVigil Cloud Service offers fleets continuous visibility of their vehicles and tires and the ability to prioritize and schedule service.

KANATA, Ontario — TireStamp Inc. has updated and enhanced its previous tire pressure management system (TPMS) product line, now known as the TireVigil Cloud Service brand.
TireStamp’s TPMS 2.0 solutions offer fleets continuous visibility of their vehicles and tires and the ability to prioritize and schedule service to address tire problems as they develop, according to the company.
“By connecting every vehicle to the cloud and knowing how long tires can run before they reach catastrophic alert levels, en-route tire-related breakdowns are eliminated, operations [are] not disrupted unnecessarily, tread wear and casing life is optimized, fuel economy is maximized, and safety is improved,” said Peggy Fisher, president of TireStamp.
Features of the TireVigil Cloud Service include TPMS 2.0, which monitors tire conditions with vehicle location and connects each vehicle to the TireVigil Cloud.
The new product line also includes automated IntellAlerting Service, a tire alert platform that utilizes algorithms to calculate cold inflation pressure. It categorizes alerts by their severity and recognizes the appropriate fleet resources to receive alerts based on vehicle location, resource availability, and the degree of tire issue severity before it reaches a critical inflation or temperature level, according to TireStamp. The service also provides mileage-based reminders for checking wheel nut torque after tire changes.
Meanwhile, the Scheduled Reporting Service automatically generates fleet-wide and location-specific reports on tire service and quality.
Another feature, Always On TireWatch Service, is a tire servicing app that provides visibility of tire issues and vehicle location, prioritizes tire issues, and facilitates sensor management, tire service, and its recordkeeping.
Also, the API (Application Program Interface) Data Exchange Service exchanges information between programs so that other fleet management systems and service providers can write software that uses TireVigil Cloud data.
TireVigil Cloud data is bundled with unlimited alerts, reports, and usage of the Always On TireWatch servicing app for a fixed monthly subscription fee. There are no cellular charges.
