BURLINGTON, N.J. — Speakers have been lined up for the Dossier Users Group’s annual summit, which will be held Nov. 2-4 in Tucson, Ariz.
Eric Ice, division administrator for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), will speak on Nov. 3 about the FMCSA’s new CSA (Comprehensive Safety Analysis) 2010 initiative, which will be fully implemented next year.
In his role at the FMCSA, Ice is responsible for compliance by all interstate motor carriers and hazardous material shippers domiciled in Arizona, as well as Mexican carriers from Sonora and Sinaloa that enter the U.S. Ice has served in truck safety enforcement for the U.S. Department of Transportation for more than 20 years.
Mark Norton from the Arizona Division of Safety and Health will speak on Nov. 4 about safety in the fleet maintenance department.
Norton has worked for the state of Arizona in work health and safety for more than 20 years. During that time, he has conducted more than 3,000 safety and health inspections. He is currently working on his second book on the subject.
The Dossier Users Group is an independent organization of fleet professionals who use Arsenault Associates’ Dossier asset maintenance management software.
