MADISON, Ind. — Rotary Lift’s latest addition to its line of heavy-duty inground scissor lifts, the EFX90, incorporates three heavy-duty scissor sections to lift vehicles weighing up to 90,000 pounds, including articulated buses and vehicles with tandem axles.

The EFX90 modular inground lift includes the company’s patented universal style lifting saddle with flip-up adapters to ease lift setup. As a result, the EFX90 is compatible with a wide selection of lightweight adapters.

In addition, the lift has an infinite adjustment range, so technicians can precisely position adapters exactly where they're needed for proper lifting, according to the company. The adapters swivel, making it possible to pick up vehicles by either the frame or the axle.

“Technicians love how easy it is to set up our heavy-duty scissor lifts,” said Doug Spiller, Rotary Lift heavy-duty product manager. “They can set up the EFX90 in just a few minutes, letting them get to work faster, for less vehicle downtime.”

Company officials said that the EFX90 uses heavier centering links that are 33% stronger than those of comparable lifts, while its heavier pivot pins are 37% stronger and offer 12.5% more bearing surface area for extended service life. The pins are also protected by Rotary Lift’s exclusive Smartguard corrosion protection. Finally, the EFX90’s reinforced cover plates are 59% stronger than those used by other inground scissor lifts, according to Rotary Lift.

The EFX90 also features Rotary Lift’s patented heavy-duty locking system, and it has been third-party tested by ETL and is ALI certified to meet ANSI safety and performance standards.
