More than 50,000 of the fastest-moving items in FinditParts’ online catalog of more than 6 million parts will be eligible for guaranteed delivery within two business days to most U.S. shipping zones.
“We listened to our customers, and the one thing they said they wanted most was faster delivery times,” said David Seewack, founder and CEO of FinditParts.
Seewack, who launched the online supplier in 2010 after a career in brick-and-mortar businesses, said in an interview that FinditParts’ customers include school bus fleets as well as heavy-duty truck operators and transit systems. In the pupil transportation sector, the company offers parts for Thomas Built and Blue Bird buses, among others.
As for the new FinditParts Express service, products on the website that bear the Express badge are eligible for two-day delivery. Some qualify for free shipping and same-day shipping, depending on the recipient’s proximity to FinditParts’ regional distribution centers.
Seewack said that the aim of the Express service is to give customers “an Amazon-like experience,” referring to the online retailer with a wide variety of products and fast shipping. He added that FinditParts’ new regional shipping warehouses help the company keep costs down and get parts to customers quicker.
