DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec — Type A school bus manufacturer Micro Bird has named Normand Pâquet as its new chief commercial officer.
Pâquet has been the vice president of sales and marketing for 11 years, and has held a variety of senior roles with Micro Bird as well as before he joined the school bus manufacturer in 2007, according to Micro Bird.
In his new position, Pâquet will be in charge of future strategies and business development, Erik Boisvert, sales and marketing coordinator for Micro Bird, told School Bus Fleet.
“As Micro Bird continues to grow, evolve, and prepare for its future projects, it is necessary to make some adjustments,” Steve Girardin, president of Micro Bird, said in a personnel announcement to the manufacturer’s dealers last week. “For this reason, I have the pleasure to announce that Normand Pâquet’s title will be changing to chief commercial officer.”
Micro Bird recently launched its new G5 Electric school bus, and delivered one to Toronto in September.
