DALLAS — IC Bus has announced the winners of its 2018 Dealer of the Year, Pursuit of Excellence, and Diamond Dealer awards.

The school bus manufacturer named Western Canada IC Bus as its 2018 Dealer of the Year. The award focuses on distinction in dealer performance, as well as industry and community leadership.

“Our Dealer of the Year award is reserved for the best of the best — the dealership that has gone above and beyond to provide for their customers, community, and the industry,” said Trish Reed, vice president and general manager for IC Bus. “Western Canada IC Bus has excelled in each of these categories, and I’m proud to award them with our highest honor.”

Doug DeHoop, the vice president and general manager for Western Canada IC Bus, added that the award “validates the hard work and dedication of every single one of our employees, who constantly strive to deliver the very best for our customers.”

IC Bus also named the winners of its annual Pursuit of Excellence and Diamond Premier awards. In partnership with dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada, IC Bus said that these industry awards pay tribute to the companies that demonstrate excellence in improving sales, market share, and customer satisfaction. Winners are also required to meet community service requirements to be eligible for recognition.

The 2018 winners of the Pursuit of Excellence award are:

  • Longhorn Bus Sales LLC

  • Waters Truck and Tractor Co. Inc.

  • Cornhusker International Trucks Inc.

  • Cumberland International Trucks Inc.

  • Summit Bus of Tupelo

  • McCandless Truck Center LLC

  • RWC International Ltd.

  • Summit Bus of North Little Rock

IC Bus also recognized DATTCO Inc. as this year's Diamond Dealer award winner.
