“We’ve seen steady growth in the number of school districts investing in their fleet staff through our professional development and lubrication maintenance programs,” Hydrotex CEO John Beasley said. “Many districts are strategically rotating employees through the training to keep everyone updated with the latest in application technology.”
Phil Kramer has been appointed vice president, pupil transportation, at Hydrotex.
To support the growing interest in its professional development, Hydrotex is charging Gleaves, a 51-year company veteran, and Kramer, who joined the company in early 2014, with helping more districts reduce their maintenance costs, improve fuel efficiency and increase bus reliability.
Hydrotex officials said that the team will be able to tap the company’s amplified support for pupil transportation, which includes in-depth training of its consultant sales force and technical response team; new services; and targeted professional development through the Hydrotex Lubrication University.
“We know transportation directors and technicians appreciate strong customer service, personal attention to detail and timely program implementation,” Beasley said. “We’re increasing our capacity to support them at a high level and to bring them new solutions that help them save money and increase reliability.”
