INDIANAPOLIS — Dr. Marilyn J. Bull will deliver the keynote luncheon address during the 18th National Conference and Exhibition on Transporting Students With Disabilities and Preschoolers, which will be held here Feb. 27 through March 4.

Bull, a developmental pediatrician and advocate for safe transportation on behalf of infants and children with special needs, is a member of the faculty at the Indiana University Medical Center and is the Morris Green Professor of Pediatrics at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

She also serves as president of the Indiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as the medical director of the Automotive Safety Program at Riley Hospital, and on the Board of Directors for the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine and the National Child Passenger Safety Board. In addition, Bull helped create the American Academy of Pediatrics Pedialink – Moving Kids Safely: Introduction to Car Safety Seats, an online learning module for physicians.

Bull’s address is titled, “It’s About the Child: Developmental Stages and Disabling Conditions as Key Factors in Safe Transportation for Our Youngest and Most Vulnerable Passengers.” She has presented at the conference in prior years, and she speaks internationally on occupant protection and safe transportation of children with disabilities.
