CINCINNATI — Ken Ruble, service manager of Allied Bus Sales Inc., was honored by Navistar International Corp. with the President’s Award for exceptional customer service work.

FirstGroup America officials said that Ruble was one of five individuals in the nation who received this award. (Allied Bus Sales serves FirstGroup, parent company of First Student Inc.)

The President’s Award recognizes organizations and individuals that show growth in service, warranty sales and technical training hours. It is broken into five classifications determined by market size and the number of registered technicians onsite.

“Focusing on our customers’ needs, providing our technicians with the right training and being proactive with warranties and recalls were a big part of earning this award,” Ruble said. “It is an honor to be recognized for the work our team does, and we look forward to expanding on this success in the new year.”

According to Joe Delaney, vice president of vehicle purchasing for FirstGroup, the award was earned by all of the Allied Bus Sales employees serving the Kansas and Missouri regions.

“All credit goes to the employees and Ken’s leadership within Allied,” Delaney said. “Their customer service and attention to detail has set new standards for not only our company, but for others throughout the entire industry.”
