WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Continuing demand for IC Bus University classes has led the school bus manufacturer to schedule an additional session of the maintenance training program for the week of Aug. 16.
Technicians who are interested in attending should contact their local IC Bus dealer for registration information.
In related news, 54 school bus technicians attended an IC Bus University session held last week at IC Bus’ Tulsa, Okla., bus plant. Attendees underwent 43 hours of training that included instruction on bus electrical systems, engines and maintenance. Additional training was provided by Allison Transmission, Specialty Manufacturing, Ricon Corp., The Braun Corp., Meritor Wabco, Koroseal Flooring Systems and AkzoNobel.
Attendees were also provided with an in-depth plant tour for body and chassis construction.
Additional IC Bus University class scheduled
Due to growing demand, another session of the school bus manufacturer’s maintenance training program will be held the week of Aug. 16. Fifty-four technicians attended last week’s session.
