Late last month, Noregon released updates for two of its products, Truck Check Up and ShopPulse.
ShopPulse receives major enhancements for linking preventive maintenance inspections into the work order system. Users can now perform inspections with built-in JPRO checklists or create their own customizable inspections with photos, notes, signatures, and more. Shops can also track PM scheduling in various intervals, such as time, mileage, or engine hours with reminders and due-date tracking. Automatic service recommendations can be added to work orders when an inspection result indicates the need for service, and shops can track all inspection events for their customers through the embedded CRM.

“Many independent repair shops rely on repeat, local customers to keep them in business,” said Sam Boerboom, Noregon’s product marketing manager. “PM inspection services are a great way to build relationships with customers and keep them coming back to the shop for routine service and maintenance. We’re excited to offer that ability through ShopPulse.”
“Fleets can’t afford for a repair job to get stuck behind a lengthy inspection. We introduced the Truck Check Up Academy so technicians would know warning signs to look for before performing an inspection and how to interpret various results from CARB to quickly get a vehicle passed and out the door,” Boerboom said. “Users also walk away with a deep understanding of the Truck Check Up Portal so they can manage users, view historical inspection results, and perform admin duties that keep shop bays flowing.”
The academy includes three training modules; specifics of the CTC regulation, using Truck Check Up software, and the Truck Check Up Portal. Users who pass the final exam receive an official Truck Check Up certification.
