SynTec Seating Solutions is offering black back seat covers for its S3B and S3C school bus seats. The design provides the same quality as SynTec’s traditional seat cover colors while helping to reduce vandalism, according to the supplier. Black back covers are available in fire-block vinyl with color combinations such as gray/black and blue/black.
The concept of black back seat covers originated in Clark County, Nevada, and has gained popularity in other locations, according to SynTec. Reductions in vandalism have been reported by school bus operations in Dallas and Houston, Texas.
