A storm trooper snowman graced the side of the bus that Waterford (Calif.) Unified School District entered in its local Christmas parade on Dec. 9. (The snowman was actually a reused mummy from a Halloween "Trunk or Treat" event, said Suzanne Bauer, the district's director of transportation.)

San Antonio Independent School District's transportation team posed for their annual holiday photo.

Additionally, Waterford School District's superintendent, Dr. Don Davis, played his trumpet, just a few entries ahead of the bus, in the parade.

School buses in San Antonio, Texas, were dusted with snow earlier this month, and there was even enough to build a snowman. Shown here is Carmen Hughes, a transportation payroll manager for San Antonio Independent School District.

Parma (Ohio) City School District’s “Stuff the Bus” event on Dec. 2 collected gifts, clothes, and other items for hundreds of families. The transportation team is seen here.

Durham School Services' team in Overland Park, Kansas, recently raised $1,800 for Harvesters — The Community Food Network, a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas.

During this year’s Pomona (Calif.) Unified School District Family Support & Resource Center sponsored holiday party, Durham School Services team members brought holiday joy to four families by donating gifts from their wish lists.
