Police in Kansas City, Mo., say that the person tried to board the school bus, but the driver denied him a ride because she didn't recognize him. As the bus drove off, the person, who witnesses say appeared to be of high school age, reportedly fired several shots at the bus but didn't hit it.

Man tries to drive off in loaded school bus

Police in Palestine, Texas, say the 30-year-old man may have been involved in an altercation before he boarded a school bus and attempted to drive away. After struggling with the man, the bus driver and two bystanders were able to pull him from the bus and hold him on the ground until police arrived.

According to a Miami Herald report, the 15-year-old accused in last week’s fatal shooting had sneaked the gun to school before and shown it to classmates. He is charged with manslaughter and carrying a concealed weapon, although prosecutors have not yet decided whether to charge him as an adult.

According to Miami-Dade police, the girl is shot in a private school bus on Tuesday morning and later succumbs to her injuries in the hospital.
