School bus drivers and other staff members and students kicked off holiday celebrations by decorating their school buses for local Christmas parades, dressing up, posing for holiday cards and "stuffing the bus" for those in need.

Jan Powell, a bus driver for Liberty-Benton Local Schools in Ohio, took this photo of the students on her school bus. When asked about the photo, she said, "I looked in my mirror and what did appear? A miniature Santa and 28 reindeer!"

Spotsylvania County (Va.) Public Schools filled a school bus with wrapped presents for its ninth annual toy drive: "Operation Bus Elves."
Last year, Spotsylvania decorated one of its school buses to look like the character Olaf in the movie "Frozen." The bus was featured in the local holiday parade.
A school bus driver at Village Christian Schools in Sun Valley, California, got into the spirit of the season with some Christmas decorations inside her school bus.
The Village Christian Schools transportation office looks very festive. Additionally, one of the walls is very appropriately painted to look just like the outside of a school bus.
