Here, new school bus drivers receive orientation and driver training. About 150 bus drivers are currently being trained for the upcoming school year.

Employees get ready at the operations center in the city of Mayagüez to drive school buses for the Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Mayagüez 2010, the biggest and most important sporting event in Puerto Rico in the last 45 years, according to Transporte Sonnell.

More school buses on the way to the event, proudly sporting the Puerto Rican flag. About 400 school buses transported athletes, staff, and dignitaries to and from the event. For Transporte Sonnell, this was the biggest contract for a single project not related to school transportation.
