I'm having a fine time with my RV conversion of a 1992 TC2000 FE, but there are "too many" wires that used to belong to the pupil transportation equipment! I see that the wires all have little white tags with a three digit number, and I would love to know what each belongs to.
The factory web site only has diagrams for newer buses.
Sure wish I had taken notes when I had so much wiring exposed during the roof raising operation! |

You will find that most of the "School Bus" lights and such use the same wire numbers then as they do now. Try using a newer body# from a 2002 and up non multiplexed bus. The bodies haven't changed much. |

Thanks, WolfOr, I would like to try that. Now I just have to guess at a suitable body num.... Hmmm... My neighbor drives school buses. In fact, I referred her the job. Maybe she can get me a number. |

I found a 2007 body number on the internet and downloaded its diagrams. The color coding seems to match on the couple of wires I have looked at so far. And for sure, the color coding will be a big help. But the new wire numbers are four digits, like 2411, 2412, 2413 and 2414 for the warning lights, while I have two-digit numbers 32, 33, 73 and 74 on those wires.
In addition, I have little white number tags on the wires in the electrical center below the driver's window. Those tags have three-digit numbers. Mostly, I'm just curious about those.

I have a 1991 TC2000. I'll try to get a body number for you. I may even have a diagram for it somewhere. |

I have experimented with body numbers and found diagrams on the factory web site from the year 2000. I see only "new" numbers here so far. (EDIT/UPDATE:) I have downloaded all of the year-2000 schematics and found both "new" numbers (four and five digits) and "old" numbers with one, two and three digits. No luck matching any numbers with my bus so far though. But the colors will definitely help me.
Let's see... In case somebody else can make use of this information, the 2007 body number that works is F152025. The 2000 body number is F132025.
(My 1992 is F102020.)
Baptistbusman, if you have a diagram for yours, I would be glad to pay you a couple of bucks for a copy.
