Does anyone know what is the minimum distance allowed between seats on a school bus. When I say between seats, I mean between drivers side passenger seats and the passenger side seats. How much Isle room?
For the state of Ohio it is minimum 12" at the cushion and 14" at top of the seatbacks. Buses having wheelchair position in front of passenger seats require a wider aisle to the rear emergency door...I believe 36".
