My 06's Tach and Speedo are starting to go bad as in the crystal/plastic lens's are changing to a whitish/milky color and slowly getting worse. I've been told by my BB parts dept that they "Think" the lens can be changed but have yet to find out. I sure hope to heck that you dont have to replace the whole darn thing just so you can see it again.

BluebirdParts...know anything about this?

You get 2 years warranty on them bbird. I don't know of any replacement lenses yet. The sun is what fades them, some of our drivers cover the dash and steering wheel with a towel during down time in the sun.

I'm not familar with these gauges, but do you think there is any way to do it yourself with store-bought plexiglass?

What do ya have to lose besides a little more of your sanity?

I pried one open and gave a look. The black ring surrounding the lens and gauge body twists off, with a lot of effort. It looks to me like a guy could make one with a CNC machine out of plexiglass. I took this one apart to see why the buzzer inside quit working. I'm going to try and repair it.

bbird66 I dont think it is fair to qoute prices that my company sells vs the same part that another company would sell. Now if you were to call around to other dealers that is your option.

It turns about 1/3 turn then pulls off. Like taking the lid off a pickle jar, LOL.
