Does anyone know of good, legal for school, used buses for sale - in or near CO. We had the last two Carpenters red tagged last week and are having no luck finding replacement. (or convincing our sup. to get us new ones) We want conventionals - big engines - w/retarders and auto chains if poss. Also - we prefer man. trans. but may have to get autos. If you have any hot leads we would sure appreciate info!
Thanks -

I purchased our buses for my school district from www.used-bus.com. They have a HUGE selection of pre-owned buses. Great selection with very good pricing. They picked us up at the airport and are open on Saturdays. They have a large parts department and they can ship all over the country. We are planning on purchasing two more buses for our fleet next summer from them. Great company to work with. |

There is a dealer in Colorado of higher end used buses in Monument, Colorado. I don't know the website but just search for school buses in Monument Colorado.
They seem very nice and prefer to deal with School District and late year models. They also have Colorado compliant buses (no two gear rear) and only stock buses that can be used for school service |

Thanks, but we've already been talking w/ them. Plus most of their buses have high mileage, or hyd brakes. They have a few that are intesting tho -
Thanks again - Marshall
