International belt tensioner #1830033C2.

I pulled my stock unit off the shelf and installed it. Price for shelf part was $108.23.

Re-ordered same part number to replenish stock.... new price $230.23.

What are you guys paying for this tensioner?

Thanks.

Well, I cross it to either a Dayco 89442, which I pay $65.36 for, or a Gates 38514, which I pay $102.63 for. I'd check the back of the tensioner to see who made it for International and go that way. All my Cummins stuff has the Dayco stamped right into the unit...

Someone off the street can get the Gates one at O'Reily for $108.37. Maybe Navistar doesn't think we price check this stuff... I actually would prefer to support my IC dealer parts department, but they're making it tough! Thanks for the Dayco cross.

Thanks guys.
For years I have been pretty happy with Navistar's pricing structure.
I guess more price checking is now on my overloaded to do list.

You can get them from NAPA> Somewhere around $60.00 give or take a nickle.

I source them from a local warehouse distributor. I see from their website that Autozone is Dayco as well. NAPA, Carquest and O'Reilly are all Gates.

Worst case, you can get them from Grainger, but the price will be about double (at least under my pricing structure.)
