You can discuss your favorite, and/or least favorite television shows here! My favorite show is Seinfeld! You know, one thing that made Seinfeld popular, and well liked, is that it doesn't involve non-sense, and stupid jokes like in Friends. It's more realistic and every character is very unique in that show. I would say, more so than in other shows. Look at Kramer, I mean really, everything he does fits in perfectly into the show, and the funny things he does are funny while maintaining a funny, and realistic. Then you got Seinfeld, Ilaine, and George - they all work well! Everything happens at a comfortable pace, and there isn't too much going on in one show. I also like Judge Judy! She really is an intelligent lady. She went to law school, became a lawyer, then made this show up! She makes 30 million dollars a year. Many of the cases are pretty interesting, but you have to be interested in it to enjoy it. Least favorite show is That 70's show. Could it be any stupider? LOL

Here's what I watch, in order of my most favorite, or most watched, program
WWE Monday Night RAW Dirty Jobs Mythbusters ECW Friday Night SmackDown! Jeopardy! (I have a really strong preference to the older shows, especially those aired from its debut in '84 to the early '90s) Wheel of Fortune (likewise with Jeopardy!) The Price is Right Family Feud (The first Richard Dawson version is the one I like to watch most) Modern Marvels Extreme Engineering M*A*S*H Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (Mariska Hargitay is so hot, but that's another story, lol) Law and Order: Criminal Intent
The GEICO Gecko commercials.
Shows I cannot stand?
Jeopardy! - Even though it's also on my most watched list, I cannot stand the theme music and the set the show uses now. The 1987 variant to the original set is the best the show ever used, as was the original 1984 open/close theme music. In fact, I just read an article saying that the set is getting overhauled and will debut on Sept. 11th.
Seinfeld. The only good thing about the show was Julia Louis-Dreyfus (sp?)
Pretty much any NBC programming..

I never thought so many people watch Judge Judy! I guess many more do than I thought. I also like House, I found it interesting. Will and Grace I'm not too crazy about. I used to watch Everybody Loves Raymond, but the only thing that goes on in that show is Ray and Debra fighting all day. lol |

IC- your wife & i would also get along, i watch the Eastenders, have for yrs. i even have an Eastenders coffee cup. & a book that was written yrs ago about the characters. iwatched the Eastenders for a while, got my Mom hooked on them, quit watching for several yrs, then started watching again when i was helping my Mom before she died.
hey Scott, i watch the other BBC stuff sometimes too! "hello, Mrs Boo-kay speaking...." that woman is a trip, if i was her neighbor, i'd seriosly consider moving.

My favorite shows here on TV are:
Judge Judy Seinfeld King of Queens Strong Medicine House Family Guy The Simpsons Colbert Report CSI (THE ORIGINAL Las Vegas one) House Hunters Desperate Housewives Fear Factor Pimp My Ride Super Nanny And probably a couple of shows on the Pentagon Channel would be a back up if none are on. Too bad they're all a day behind, but atleast they show them here, .
I also like watching the local South Korean channels when there's nothing on.
I just can't stand not having commercials, lol. I hate PSA's repeating all day!! |

How can someone not enjoy any of the cases on Judge Judy?? Well, maybe if she embarassed that person on TV; I can see that. lol.
I have a question, does the studio pay for the "loser" or do they have to themselves? |

I may be wrong but I think both side get paid a fee for appearing. What fund the money comes out of I don't know.
Some of the cases on all opf the Judge shows are sooooo stupid. |

CSI Miami CSI Las Vegas I can't stand CSI New York
Law & order special victims unit Law & order I only like Law & Order Criminal Intent when the two new people are on it. I don't like the two originals detectives.
2 1/2 Men I watch a lot of HGTV Sorry. My husband hates it. That's why we have 4 TV's
I like the new show that has been on for the last 2 summers. "The Closer." Has anyone else seen it. I believe it's on TNT. I liked Friends and used to watch some of the British shows all the time. They were on Sunday night late. I always watched Are You Being Served, and Keeping up Appearances and the Vicar. The British have a different sense of humor but all of these were hilarious. I was the only one up at that time and I would sit there and laugh out loud.
We have all the movie channels but I am about to have them shut off as we never watch them. Most of the movies nowadays are not any good. I watchd "To Kill a Mockingbird" the other day. I've seen it so many times but I still enjoy it.
I read a lot. Sometimes we will have to start a thread about our favorite authors.

Wow, this might become a long list:
Everybody Loves Raymond NYPD Blue Judge Judy Family Guy American Dad The Simpsons Pimp My Ride Emergency! Frasier The Golden Girls Hogan's Heroes Barney Miller Night Court THe Cosby Show Home Improvement All in the Family There's probably more, and most of it is classic TV. Most of the newer shows are crapola. I'm a rarity I guess. Almost 18 years old and love TV that debuted before I was even born...
