2004 Bluebird(IH) t444e engine 4h597631 last eight of vin Hard start ecm not giving my GPR(glow plug relay) ground have 12 volts at relay and exciter has 12 volts my wiring from relay to valve cover gasket .2 ohms and holds 12 volt load glow plug readings from valve cover gasket all in spec 2.2ohms average across all 8 of them unplugged my EOT(engine oil temp.) still no ground from ecm (heard that ensor unplugged should cycle relay for 2 mins (not sure if this test is correct) anyway aiming at a bad ecm anybody can confirm these conditions or did i miss something Thank you taking time to try to help |

Check out the engine temp switch I think the ECM needs to see colder temps in coolant to cycle the glow plug relay. We haven't had any Internationals since 2000. |

Thanks for reply , and all temperature sensors are reading in spec, double checked with infra red temp. gun and these stupid engines are a hard start in summer if one or two glo plugs are bad these engines are boat anchors man |

Yes, They are boat anchors, a little bit better than vt365 but not much, just wondering if your bus hard to start in summer, why you think it's glow plug issue, you donot really need glow plug in summer to start bus. |

Just started doing one day , never had issue with unit till now lol Power does not cross relay, everything is there except a ground signal on one of the small terminals and it comes from ecm can give it ground and it works but can't leave like that or the go plugs would be on whole key is on |

we have many t444e buses in bone yard , swiped an ecm and BAM gave my GPR its ground , tested it this morning left unit outdoors and success it fired right up Thank you for your time and input |
