We have a 2005 rear engine bird . The lug nuts started to loosen up and let the wheels move on the hub . This is a pilot hb and it wore down the hub so the wheels will not center . I called bluebird and they want 470 dollars for one but is 2 months out . I called a company we buy our brakes thru and couldn't help but gave me a price . So I have some numbers and maybe someone can tell me where I can get a new hub . Bluebird number 00090248 and a Carrolton number of 0415985003 . This is a 2005 all american rear engine bus . Hope someone can help and do better price wise .
It just took me almost 2 months to get tie rods out of Meritor. They are having some stock issues, as best as I can tell. That hub looks to be a special order item on top of that. Have you tried other heavy duty parts houses in the area? International, Kenworth, etc. They all deal with Meritor. You may get lucky and one of them have it on the shelf or be able to tell you if it is in their network.
That's one I called and he didn't understand why it was showing they had one . Another site selling IC parts said they had one and when I called he said it was back ordered . I called an IC dealer near me and they couldn't locate one either . But could get it . Take 75 days for meritor to make one . Then I have to pay shipping to get it here to the west coast . plus they were more money on top of that . So I went with bluebird . They will pay shipping and were cheaper
