Hi guys, 2006 international school bus, engine VT365, idling engine speed not stable, revving up and down, sometime even shut off by itself , any idea? Thanks!

did you pull and check the egr valve
unplug actuator on turbo if it smooths out in idle its your egr valve
had two vt365 do this last year and it set no codes |
OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years

| Thanks, Bluenozer, yes, I checked EGR valve and it looks not too bad, now we suspect either lifter or bad injector.because it looks sometime less fuel and sometime too much fuel. |
