Anyone have the problem with 8 way warning lights blowing fuse when red's activated? I have taken all four red lights out, disconnected child check, entrance light at step well, checked the wires as best as I could, changed door switch, 8 way warning light switch, cut power at stop sign, disconnected crossing gate magnet nothing resolves issue. Any ideas?
I have talked with him over email about this same bus. This is from the email just for an update.
After two days I found the problem. The wires to the lights on the stop sign were rubbing against the housing and shorting out. Poor design because you cant see unless you take wires off stop sign. One of those simple things for the “book”. Thanks for your thoughts.
Thanks for updating. Imagine that...a shorted wire on a stop sign! I've seen guys buy some sort of super bendy wire for those. Don't ask me what it is, all I know is that it's made to flex.
