IC bus 2005, dt466e engine, 206k miles It is embarassing but due to the complete lack of information I have to post everything here. I fail to even be able to look up something as simple as error codes.
I got 2 error codes:
117, fault mode)
27, fault mode 05
could anyone please tell me what that means and what I have to do to fix it or narrow it down? thank you |

searched Navistar dt466,dt466e,maxxforce dt and 117 is not found in any flash trouble codes and no 27 they all start at 111 . they all go 115 and next is a 121 codes for all three engines probably the reason why a google search is showing no results So not sure what to tell ya on this subject |

Not familiar with that bus particularly, but is there a way to view codes on the dash with that one? |
Before I started working here, I drank, smoked, and used foul language for no reason at all. But, thanks to my job, I now have a reason. |

Hold Cruise on and Resume momentarily and it will bring the codes up in the odometer display. |

I would say what ever tool you have is junk for truck and transport applications might be good on automobiles and the light stuff INT J1708 is free and a Chinese clone of Nexiq on ebay is cheap$300 ( I would never buy a clone communicator ) but if i had to I would (just be careful not to update from the internet use the disk that comes with it) and you should be golden and that unit would have Bendix brakes download it for free now before they add a subscription
