Can someone help me out with this? I'm the director of a Boys & Girls Club looking to switch from 15 passenger vans to activity mini-buses, but am trying to figure out why the discrepancy over the same school bus model have a dual rear wheel, when the activity version only has one.

What brand of bus? They can be ordered either way, it is your choice.

Single Wheel (4 Window Bus)

R/S: 4 Rows of 34" Seats (2 Children or Adults)
L/S: 3 Rows of 34" Seats & Rear Storage Area (2 Children or Adults)

***Not every manufacturer can do a 14 passenger 4 row in this configuration due to limited aisle width.

Single Wheel (5 Window Bus)

R/S: 4 Rows of 22" Seats (1 Child or Adult)
L/S: 5 Rows of 34" Seats (2 Children or 2 Adults)

Dual Wheel (4 Window Bus)

R/S: 4 Rows of 37" Seats (2 Children or Adults)
L/S: 3 Rows of 37" Seats & Rear Storage Area (2 Children or Adults)

Dual wheel has a wider aisle, wider seats, slightly better ride, and better stability. Single wheel obviously is more maneuverable and usually cheaper.

E-mail me at richard@schoolbuscentral.com if you have any other questions.
