| My company put on a driver appreciation breakfast this morning which was nice. This morning when I got to my elementary school, a trainer got on board my bus and talked to my kids briefly about school bus safety including the importance of sitting, etc. Friday, at one of our terminals, we're having a mock disaster drill where we'll have a big bus flipped on it side, and a handicap van involved as well. From what I understand, there will be kids involved, dressed up in makeup like they're really hurt, and the fire department, police, and lifestar will be present. Should be interesting to see. |
