With all the starter issues in the '97-'04 DT466s, I've decided to try the 38MT, a reduction starter, in a few units.

With the exception of a solenoid failure in one of them, so far OK...... and they're a lot lighter than the 41MTs for us old farts to deal with.

Anyone else tried them?
