There's also a Shelbyville, Illinois. Hmmmm.... I'd have to say Illinois
They do show hints in some episodes, but I'm not fast enough to realize whats going on |

They are from Massachusetts. I met them in Springfield, MA when I was driving a field trip. |

Springfield Ohio is just about as dumpy as the one on the Simpsons so I'm with Rich.

Actually, I think it is Ohio - I remember Marge saying "Springfield, Ohio" but didn't quite say "Ohio". I believe she almost said it and then paused. Not to mention, they went to visit someone (like an uncle) in Dayton when there was a tornado and Dayton is very close to Springfield. |

Since I have no clue as to which state they are from and (sorry) Springfield is such a generic name, (I think there is even one in Iowa) I think we ought to get them to move to Cuba City, there is only one Cuba City in the good ol' U.S. of A. Mike
(1000 "Who's Line is it Anyway" points if you know where Cuba City is) |

Yeah maybe they should move to Cuba. I'm not sure if they'd like Springfield Mass or Ohio! |

Cuba City is in Wisconsin, right?
My (very) brief research indicates that there are 35 states with a Springfield.
What is THE most common city/town name? All but 4 states have one.
Give up? scroll for answer
Riverside |

Congrats IC you get 1000 "whose Line" points and all that go with them, Riverside, Iowa (future birthplace of a famous captain) is only about 35 miles from me. Another popular city name is Marion. Mike |

"...Springfield Oh-hi-Maude" as she walked into the kitchen for some reason.
Although during a VH1 Spoof clipshow they called them "northern Kentucky family".
Hmmmm. |

I think VT cheated. I really thought they used to live in Massachusetts but then they moved to Illinois so they could visit Chicago, but looks like it's final and they're trapped in VT! |
