Thanks

is it a diesel or Gas engine?

I loved those squared visors Carpenter used. Wayne used some similar that were really long.

Bus looks nice Robert, and sounds like you got a good deal on it. I just sold my Ward last week so I'm down to just one bus at the present.

If all your problems are behind you... you must be a school bus driver.

Ahhhh, Persimmon seats, my eyes!!! HAHA, just kidding. Looks like a nice bus. I always liked the old Carpenter body styles with the squarish lights. But I've never seen reverse light like those, very intersting. Anyways, congrats on the purchase and best of luck with it

Does it have a two speed axle or something? What is the lever to the right of the shifter? It looks like the old 4-wheel drive transfer case selectors, but I can't imagine that a bus is 4-wheel drive.

By the way... why does 80AmtranRE4 always post something for the IC-RE. That has absolutely nothing to do with this. I love the Thomas C2, you don't see me piping in that he should go buy some new Thomas C2. We know you love the Amtran RE's, it's obvious from the username. Hope you don't take offense, but still.

I have an obsession with AmTran RE buses. The first bus I ever drove was an AmTran RE, for the first four years of driving a school bus, so of course I'm going to add something in like that, and no I don't take any offense. So I had to bring it up

The parking brake is that far away? Good thing its not modern day, where people expect you to apply the parking brake every time we stop anywhere in the world. It's becoming a joke around here.

Amtran... I have heard the story before. It's just annoying when it doesnt relate to this topic at all. Just put those posts in the topics like, WHICH BUS WOULD YOU BUY, WHAT ENGINE WOULD YOU PICK, etc. NOT just because put the word bus in their topic.

Can't beat 450 bucks.. sounds like Midwest got robbed

Wish I would have found a deal like that when I was looking for a bus, but I might be in the market again in the next few months.
