We have several Freightliner Thomas buses with Cummins 5.9 engines. The are 1999 thru 2001. We are having problems with the idle increase-decrease system. The have two switches to the right side of the instrument panel that were always the ones to increase or decrease the idle. One turns this on and off, and the other increases or decreases the idle. Now they don't work, There isn't anything in our Freightliner books about this system. Can anyone give me any help? Also, there is a single rocker switch to the left, top of the instrument panel that says "Idle increase/decrease. This switch never has done anything, and I don't know why it was put on there.
Thanks for any help in this matter.

Did they ever work? May have to take to a dealer, They will hook up to thier computer and turn those functions on. Of the MANY trips to my dealer for NUMEROUS problems with my boat anchor they had accidently turn those functions off once.
