Hey everybody...
It's great to be back after a long hiatus from the forums. But I have darn good excuse for my absence... and some wonderful news to report to you all!
In late September, my wife and I celebrated the birth of our first child. A baby girl, Laurie Elizabeth! One snag, though... she was born 8 weeks premature and weighed only 3lbs 5oz . But she's a real fighter, and after a month in the hospital she was finally able to come home. She's gaining weight and growing like crazy, and has quite a personality!!!

I'm working to get my website updated soon... probably sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the experience of fatherhood... baby clothes and baby smiles, and 2:00 AM feedings !!!
P.S. - How many other fathers of a two-month-old do you know that already know what type of bus their child will ride to school??? I know you're wondering, so... it's a late 90's 84-passenger AmTran RE, standard headroom, no tinted windows or AC.

WOW, congrats Josh! Glad to hear that Laurie is doing well. She sounds like a real trooper. I hope you and your wife enjoy your roles as parents. So sorry to hear about that AmTran though, LOL

Congratulations on that new baby, Josh....ya done good, dad!
And it's so nice to hear she will be riding an AmTran RE to school in a few years. I know some kids that aren't so lucky in that regard......but I hoping their luck changes come Spring! |
