I have a 2007 bluebird all American with a cat engine in the rear . Driver said her batteries were dead . Batteries have a great charge .I was able to start the bus from the rear .I ran across this same thing but can't remember how I fixed the problem . It acts like a neutral switch but if that was it would bus start from the rear ? Needs some ideas . Thanks
Is there a switch to choose front start or rear start could the switch be bad or the wire for front start bad , take it the two start positions have their own ignition relay

I thought of the doors too . This morning I went out and the bus started right up with the dash switch . So I went to the boss since I am new here and he said the bus has done that since it was new .What I wonder is there is a outside door lock and the rear hatch has a hole for a vandal lock but no bullet .
It's hard to know for sure, but if the bus came with a vandal lock system, maybe part of it is still in place.
On my old Thomas transits with vandal locks, when they would not start from the front because of a vandal lock issue, you could start them from the back. They used a series of switches that controlled a solenoid in the side electrical box by the driver's window. I have no idea what BB uses for the ignition override in their system.
I have 1 old 2004 BB All American but it did not come with vandal locks. It's out right now, but if I can get a chance, I'll look and see if it has the hole like yours.
