i am need of an ipr valve for a 2008 ic maxforce dt466 now my dealer said its on back order i went in my parts room and had one on the shelf the box had the part number the dealer gave me 1878629c95 when i took the part out it had a different number on it 1832232c95 and the connector end comes out straight where as the on on the bus points down at 90 degree any have any idea if this is an update or was it boxed wrong?????

My 1878629C95 has the same numbered part in the plastic bag inside the box that yours has with the straight connector. I consider it an update. I've used 3 so far.

they found that the plug was causing issues so they changed it so it comes with a connector so they want you to change both
OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years
