Is anyone else seeing the front cross member crack on these old chevys? It's the one right in front of the engine.

I still have four B7's ranging from 1994 to 2002. I've never had one crack and just went and looked at them today after seeing this post and they are all okay. Three of these buses have been on rural routes their whole lives so I'm surprised I haven't had it happen.

I've got one with 287k on the clock and haven't replaced one. Mine has a 3116 in it. I have had to replace both front springs though....

Is yours diesel or gas??

Can you even still get the crossmember or did you have one set back for later?

Best of luck!!
