Have some T444E x manifold bolts rusted to the point of snapping off flush with cylinder head or just the bolt head breaking off. Anyone encountered this and done the repair, how bad was it?

We have had multiple manifolds that have had the very last bolt head break off at the manifold. I've been able to get between the head and manifold with a pair of needle nose vise grips and with some penetrating oil have been able to turn them out. It can be a time consuming, tedious process, but it can be done.

We have had a couple that have shown no signs of leakage, but have also had some that have shown signs of leakage. Guess it is kind of a crap shoot.

Hope this helps

Mine has soot trails and an audible leak until engine warms up. Up to three broken bolts per side.

Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
