Has anyone had trouble with the oil filter not being able to press the spring down to let the filter cap screw down. This is on the oil filter houseing mounted on the top of the engine.I can wiggle the spring and get it to go down but when I try it with the filter on it catches on something and will not let the filter go down.

Never had a problem, make sure there is not a part of an old filter somehow stuck in there.
Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
