Bus has hydraulic brakes and the brake pressure light and beeper comes on, if you shut the truck off and restart it, the light and beeper resets but comes back on minutes later. Brake motor works fine. No brake fluid leaks, replaced switch on master cylinder. Any input would be appreciated.

Adjust your brake switches on the brake pedal. There are two and they have to energize at the same time.

Take two test lights backprobe the switches and push the brake pedal. The switches are threaded with a jam nut. You just have to play with them until they come on together and make sure your test lights are the same, as in both incadesent or led. If you mix them you will never get the switches adjusted. Don't ask how I know...

Another thing to check, make sure when the you turn the ignition switch to the on position that the brake motor runs. If it doesn't, look real hard at the brake motor relay. If you turn on the key and the brake motor doesn't run, take a screwdriver and give it a thumping. It's under the hood by the master cylinder.

Also check to see if power steering hose clamps are tight as air in the ps fluid can cause problems.
And make sure brake lights have a good ground.

We need a "sticky" thread on the brake boosters. I had one for GM here but the links went dead. Ironically enough I have a 1999 GMCV that the brake lamp switch wiring was OK to the brake lamps but the splice further down that send the brake signal to the module was corroded up inside the wire loom. Crazy crap to keep you scratching your head.

Problem fixed. It turned out to be a broken wire on one of the 2 brake switches, repaired wire and all is good. Appreciate the tips. This forum is awesome!!!
