18,000 pound school bus crashing to avoid a small deer. Makes sense.

Seems like there are always a disproportionate number of bad crashes in Kentucky.

Greenup County...thats where I came from!

Rolling a bus to avoid striking a deer... you recieve an F for the project and a weeks detention.

I agree. Hitting the deer would have caused less damage than swerving to avoid it!

Obviosly there is alot that we don't know since we were not behind the wheel when that creature showed up; but, it seems this might hint that more driver training regarding such situations could avert an accident such as this in the future.

Very bad accident... bus driver should have never attempted to swerve to miss that deer. It is very fortunate that no children were on board.

This has been a bad year for Kentucky and bus accidents but it has not always been that bad. You also have to look at the fact that there are a lot of bus fans from this state that post articles for just about every accident that does pop up. There are tons of bad accidents that do not get reported on here from just about every other state.
