I believe that building is about a mile or two from the former Conway facility... I've seen quite a few interesting things on the lot there. I wonder if they do their prototype work out of that shop.

Very interesting find though.. curious to learn more. Obviously it's an older prototype.

IC was looking in to building a type A several years ago, but the plan got nixed as it was not part of their core focus. It now is a parts runner.

Every bus and bus frame in that pic is interesting but what Kodie says makes the most sense. I also appreciate what bbarr added. I never realized IC was considering a type A.

Isn't the AE out now?

It is interesting to see the IC body on a Ford chassis, that's for sure. :)

It would be cool to see more photos of it!

Looks like a prototype. I did hear that IC is going to "re-release" their AE next year. Not sure what that means.

How can you re-release something that has yet to hit initial production?

I remember they had a huge release party at NAPT in Portland a few years back with cheerleaders and the whole nine yards. Then it was crickets after that. we were all wondering when we would see one, still waiting.

That is the R&D facility for the Conway plant. It's across the street. The shot was taken from the bridge on Dave Ward. I don't recall what that bus was.

Probably so. I don't remember that thing moving much.
