I am trying to find industry data (especially market share) data on school bus manufacturers. Any suggestions on where to look for this type of data (or does anyone have any insight)? Thanks.
School Bus Fleet editor here. We have national school bus sales data in the research section of the website. (Click on the "Research" tab toward the top of the website's home page.) Please note that you must be a premium member to access material in the research section. The sales data isn't broken down by manufacturer (we don't track that data), but it is broken down by bus type. Our annual Fact Book has contact information for each of the industry's major bus manufacturers - the 2012 edition will be published in a few weeks. They don't break down market share, but as far as I know, IC Corporation has the largest market share for large buses and Collins Bus has the largest market share for Type A buses.
