Willis High, Willis, Texas - In Memory of Alex Caballero, 17, was killed September 4, 2009, when a school bus ran over him after he fell from a moving pickup directly in front of his high school campus. Alex had missed his bus and was riding in the pickup's passenger seat with a friend. He was attempting to get out of his friend's pickup when that friend hit the gas, throwing Alex into the path of an oncoming bus. The school bus driver had no time to react. Please keep Alex's family in your hearts and prayers during this difficult time, and also take a moment to remind your children to always buckle-up no matter what vehicle they are riding in.
