At least this ended well for the bus driver and passengers; the bus was driven away from the accident. If that had been another car, that would have certainly not been the case.
It goes without saying that the driver of the car was not thinking straight and is definitely in need of professional help of some sort; I hope he gets it. There shouldn't have to be a "next time".
