School Bus Hits Boy, Takes Him Aboard, Witnesses Say
RIO RANCHO, N.M. -- A 9-year-old boy was hit by a Rio Rancho School bus on Wednesday afternoon, and witnesses said the driver loaded the child into the bus after the accident.
Bryce Boning and his buddies from Maggie Cordova Elementary school said they saw the crash after getting off at their usual bus stop.
There is no training that promotes rendering aide in this manner. The only possible reasoning to do this sort of thing would be in a remote area and urgency required meeting EMS in route.
The video footage shows a suburban neighborhood, which negates that scenario. While I could understand a bus driver panicking if they hit something (or someone), panicking to this point still doesn't have any sort of excuse.
