Hi Everyone;

We are about to replace all 6 injectors and the HEUI pump for the first time on one of our '05 Bluebirds with a C7 Cat.

Since most of our fleet have DT466E & DT444E I was wondering how much different the job could be and if anyone could offer some pointers on "what to do or not do" or what to look for before getting started.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i havent had to do a pump yet, but the injectors need to be programed. Each injctor comes with a CD and requires the CAT program to instal.

I did the heui pump on my 04 with a C7 and just used basic hand tools with no special adjusting. It was easy!

Why are you replacing both for?

Why don't you read the service manual on this engine?
It should give you all the spec.

We have 3 of the C7 cats here and no service manuals or software.
Do you have a Caterpillar C7 manual to help us out gtidw01?
