Moisture in the ECM plug, OEM harness side Blue Bird buses, may be coming from the low coolant sensor in the overflow tank. A leaking coolant sensor can allow water into the connector pocket. The copper wire in the harness wicks the coolant down the harness all the way to the ECM connector. If you pull the ECM plug off and notice moisture there, check the coolant sensor plug pocket for anti-freeze. If coolant is present at the coolant sensor plug pocket, the sensor will need to be replaced along with the harness to the ECM.Once moisture gets inside the harness jacket it will continue to move along the wire. Photos coming.

I helped the Cummins dealer diag one of these. BB pays for diag and replacing the harness. You have to call and get approved. I check all my low coolant sensors evey time I open the hood. First one ate our lunch.
